Job Summary

As an Advanced Sales Consultant, you will play a vital role in raising the level of expertise of the field force through on-going advanced sales education, both formal and on the job. In addition, you will be responsible for introducing and training the field force on new products and services. 
 
 
Responsibilities 

  • Assist in development, implementation, and direction of the Advanced Sales program including participation in and development of large and/or complex sales proposals and assist the sales force in the implementation of life & commercial sales ideas and effective marketing for the life/commercial products. 
  • Train agents in the proper methods of sales and the proper placement and ownership of all advanced products and techniques.
  • Assist and train agents in proper methods and techniques to ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and highest ethical standards in all life & commercial insurance product sales. 
  • Act as a liaison between the Life, Commercial, and Marketing departments to assist the marketing force in understanding of Life department requirements and procedures.
 
Qualifications
 
  • College Degree required.
  • Shall either have CLU, CPCU, and ChFC degrees or pursue and attain CLU or CPCU as minimum requirement within 2 years of hire in this position. 
  • Must have excellent supervisory skills and exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Must have broad as well as specific knowledge in the various areas of advanced sales. 
  • Must have sales experience and thorough knowledge of the use of life insurance in establishing and protecting the economic well-being of policyholders and their beneficiaries.
  • Must have the ability and expertise to understand and implement highly technical and sophisticated concepts and the ability to make those concepts understandable to the agents, policyholders, and prospects.
  • Must maintain expertise in all life products and implications, thereof, to effectively advise the field force and ensure compliance with applicable legal and ethical standards.
